This recording is our response to one of the most horrific disasters ever to visit mankind - that of September 11th 2000. The choir was on a concert tour in The United States at the time and on their return felt they had to do something to quell and to try and rationalise the feelings and emotional turmoil caused by the terrible event. This recording is the result. The American hymn-tune Nearer, my God, to Three sung in English and Welsh and two traditional Maori songs of love. The songs were arranged by D. Eifion Thomas and the soloist is Iona Jones.
